I took Charlie's advice and went to that antique store. The place is HUGE and has no catalouging system. So I thought I had missed out cause other members of the class nabbed them. Then in a little box I find two super eight cameras with carrying cases. 12$ a pop! Both looked in prestine condition, so I just picked the one with less cosmetic wear and with a easier to use zoom lens. Anyway, the real reason I'm posting this is that I just got home, opened the cartridge cover, and there is a color film cartidge inside! I may have some sweet found footage, or some free film! Twelve Bucks!
EDIT: the film is from K-Mart... RAD!

Justin;
Super-dope! What kind of S8 is it? Does it have manual exposure or any other manual controls?
He-he! I love it! Film baby FILM

Its pretty basic, it has a zoom and a button on the top that I havent pushed, mainly because I'm ignorant of its use, and wish not to possibly harm the film inside.
EDIT: Also, in terms of brand and whatnot, its a Hymart 125.

Man that could be awesome. Maybe in class Charlie or someone else can have a look and tell you if the roll's been shot yet or not.

I brought it to Scott today, and after examining it I think it hasnt been shot, Meaning I have a 20 odd year old Kotakrome cartridge! Those are hard to develope, but I think I'll try to use it for my film (which is now coming along at a furious pace). Hopefully I can get a nice worn look out of it, well see.
