Friends! I need some help on my short film. It'll be fun. And I'll feed you. It's an absurdist comedy about a conservative couple eating dinner. They're a pair of happy, normal, married twentysomethings; but they can't control the fact that the white latex 'skin' covering their bodies displays their inner thoughts as clips from old movies. Awkwardness, anxiety, and desperation ensue. I'm shooting the afternoon-evening of Tuesday February 20th, and prepping the set the night before. I need.... - 4-5 GRIPS, to help with lighting, set mechanics (fans blowing debris), cat wrangling (for real), and sound recording. Ryan Marr's on DoP duty. He's handsome.
- 4-5 SET BUILDERS, on Monday night, who can work with Sam Chow to execute his maniacal postapocalyptic vision.
- 1-2 MAKEUP ASSISTANTS, to work with our makeup artist to put together the costumes, which will be made from spandex, and liquid latex painted directly onto the body.
If you're interested, post back in this thread or drop me an email at nick@overnighttolondon.com

Considering what hell I put you through on Saturday, it would not only be rude but in terrible karma to not give u my services as both a grip and a set designer. I have class till 9ish on monday but give me the place an I'll slave it up for u man.

Great thanks a lot guys. Unless something changes the cat wrangling will be on the 20th - it's Sam's cat, but I think he said he has an exam. I'm allergic, ironically.

Oh, also...
Right now I'm planning to shoot on the stage in Conron Hall, but I'd prefer some kind of dingy warehouse space. Trouble is it has to be room temperature for the actors. But if anyone knows of anything like this, let me know.
And I need a slick, stylish diningroom suite - a smallish table and two chairs - that will contrast with the chaos of the rest of the background, a fragile island of stability amidst the chaos. If anyone has any hook-ups...
