Can anybody remember the name of the film we watched for post colonialism near the end of the course? We watched it on a print, it was mostly about blacks in the UK, not being accepted as being 'british', and the position of black women? There was a scene that hopped out to where a woman is lecturing a guy about forgetting their wives in their stupid fight for independance and power.
takers? I can't think of the title for my life.

All I can think of is "I'm British But..." but I don't think that's what you're after

Was it Passion of Remembrance? I looked up the Black British Cinema course outline from last year with her. That is what we watched. And your definition sounds familiar.
